Trend Report of the Prices of Intensively Used Land in Major Cities -Land Price LOOK Report-
1 Survey objective
To clarify land price movements in advance for districts that tend to show price movements for land in major cities in advance of other areas, such as intensively used land, by determining land price movements on a quarterly basis.
2 Matters to be surveyed
The Land Appraisal Surveyors (real estate appraiser) collects information on changes in the real-estate markets of the districts to be surveyed, and at the same time recognizes land price movement through the real estate appraisal method. The results are to be aggregated in the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. (The number of Land Appraisal Surveyors is 134.)
In addition, the results of interviews with local parties related to the real estate business in each district, such as real estate-related service companies and financial institutions, shall also be published.
3 Surveyed districts
150 districts in total, including 65 districts in Tokyo region, 39 districts in Osaka region, 14 districts in Nagoya region, and 32 districts in regional urban centers were surveyed.
Residential districts comprise of districts intensively used for high-rise apartments, etc. (42 districts)
Commercial districts comprise of districts where shops, offices, are intensively concentrated .(108 districts)
